What an event this was in 2006. Anyone who went will be talking about this for years. Built largely on volunteer energy the National Trust has a real treasure in the pirates, artists, goblins, witches, knights and fairies that made the day. At the centre, of course, was the ingenious and indefatigable Kerry Brown. How good was it? Are we biased. Let a father tell the story:
Loved the Winter Magic Quest at Everglades today! My kids were excited engaged frightened fascinated entertained and educated by this fantastic community event. So was I. If this is not the best event of its type, I am a bad judge.
