| Blue Mountains Bus Company has developed a plan for Festival day that really is cause for celebration. Travel to and from the Winter Magic Festival from Blackheath, Katoomba, Leura and Wentworth Falls using the regular timetable on the Blue Mountains Bus Company Trolley Shuttle for $2 per journey.
If you choose to drive, park your car at Katoomba Public School and ride the Shuttle Trolley to the top of town and the heart of the Festival.
Take the Train and take the Trolley (follow highlighted links to State Rail Timetable and Trolley home page).
Visitors to the mountains can also enjoy the full Blue Mountains Trolley service with its 29 stops visiting all the major attractions in the upper mountains for only $12 (get on and off all day). |
While there are a number of ways of getting to the Festival from Sydney, let us put in a special word for the train. Travelling high on the ridge, the train gives you the best view of the mountains. The train from the city to Katoomba Railway station drops you right at the centre of the Festival. Why not make a weekend of it and enjoy the Sunday programme at Everglades too. Saturday and Sunday services from the City run from Central Station at 7:32am, 8:02am, 902am, 10:02am, 11:02am. Click here for the rail timetable.
