Saturday June 16th 
The ArtStreet launch opens the Festival season. This is the annual shopfront art exhibition where Katoomba businesses turn over their shop windows to local artists and Katoomba Town Centre become a large art gallery.

Street lighting project begins. Katoomba town centre will be shine with lighting effects simulating cascading water.  The street will take on the visage of a fairyland.

World Juggling Day – Katoomba will celebrate World Juggling Day with free juggling balls distributed to all who attend though you might have to make them first. 

Thursday June 21st 
Poetry Slam and workshop. Katoomba will host a heat of  the national Poetry Slam competition. The event will be hosted by master wordsmith Miles Merrill. Miles will also be conducting a wordshop at the Carrington Hotel (see more here).

Saturday June 23rd
This is the Festival's big day. The Thornleigh Rotary Steam Train chugs into town at 11am while the parade is revving up winding it's way up the street at 11:30am for the parade finale (more about the parade here) featuring the wonderful Hands Heart and Feet.  Circus Solarus has been working with local performers to create a series of street performances that will surprise and delight.  The Body Mind and Soul Food team is cooking up an incredible programme of aimed at rejuvenation and inspiration. And then there is Saturday. Are you ready for it. It is going to be big.  Take a stiff drink, a Bex or your favourite relaxant before you visit this programme.  Will you last the day? Sunday June 24th
The Sunday will feature a programme of magic in the Carrington Hotel.  There will be performance in Carrington Place and cafes and hotels (see the official printed programme closer to the day for more details).
