This year Winter Magic is proud to announce "Youth Event Safety" at Katoomba Public School Oval. A collaboration between Blue Mountains City Council and the Foundation for Young Australians, this promises to be something special. The event will start at 1pm and run to 6:30pm. See Official Poster.

Bands include Unknown Quantity, Redbee, OBPS, The Credits, Same Old Story and Shelby. In keeping with Winter Magic tradition, the whole event is free and notably will include free food. How could you resist it?

This event was originally an initiative of Blue Mountains Youth Council. For many years there have been plans and mooted plans to organise events such as this but they have never quite come off. So special thanks must go to the Youth Council and to Maggie Kuypers of Blue Mountains City Council for making it happen. We hope it will be the first of many more.
