How you can help Winter Magic Fesival
YOU CAN HELP MAKE MAGIC HAPPEN:
The largest community volunteer run festival in Australia is about to attract more than 40,000 people to the streets of Katoomba but the Winter Magic Festival needs help to continue to put on one of the biggest street parties in the country!
The online Winter Magic Festival crowd funding campaign can be found at:
www.mycause.com.au/page/77888/blue-mountains-winter-magic-festival-2016
Anybody also wishing to make contributions directly to the festival account can do so:
Bank: Bendigo Bank.
Account Name: Winter Magic Festival Inc
BSB: 633000. Account: 136801792
Please reference with "Donation" or similar for identification.
Opportunities are also available for people rather than businesses to sponsor by becoming 'Friends of the Festival'
Please visit our Sponsorship page on the website to find the links to the 2015 Sponsorship Proposal along with a link to the Sponsorship Expression of Interest form. www.wintermagic.com.au/sponsorship
It takes a huge amount to cover all the costs for this FREE annual volunteer run community festival to go ahead each year and all help is appreciated.
Official Festival Organisers will also be taking donations at the Winter Magic Festival Information stand on the day and will also conduct a cash collection drive before the Grand Parade.
Have a think about how a FREE community festival (run completely by volunteers), apart from the income from stall fees, can cover $100,000+ in costs with a large portion for public safety measures including (but not limited to) road closures, signage, first aid, portable toilet hire, and also the extensive fees involving hire of stages and production equipment, performer fees and various other activities, program and map printing, rubbish room station marquee hire, advertising and road closure notifications in the Blue Mountains Gazette, fireworks, clean up and waste disposal, Council DA's and permits and more.
This is a FREE event and the funds available directly determine what we can offer each year.
Support the Festival that supports the community!
The Duchess of Nostralia and her posse of Royal Rovers (The Ruby Bloomers Women’s Circus) will entertain and announce the arrival of the grand parade (scheduled to start at 11:30am) and hopefully collect vessels of cash (paper preferred!) from festival attendees.
